Folk’s please, everyone’s open to an opinion but please be respectful to others and be mindful of language used. Let's keep this a safe family friendly environment for all to enjoy!

Thank you for taking the time to read this. We understand this doesn’t apply or even needs to be said to about 90% of our listeners. However, for those that need it:

The room is an private forum giving a sense of community and sense of a common goal for all involved.  In order to accomplish this certain extremely basic room rules are required (though self-evident) as follows:

The LNM Radio Network management reserves the right to ban accounts, delete content, or reserve the right to refuse admission to the chatroom at its discretion if the Terms of Service are violated by a user.

Chatroom Etiquette

Member-Names (User-Names):

You agree to create and use only one active Member-Name. Creating a second Member-Name to avoid penalties such as a warning, suspension or ban will result in all accounts held by a User being banned. Member-Names must not contain inappropriate, profane language. Your member-name is your responsibility, so please choose it carefully. A Member-Name might be edited at the discretion of the Administration if you feel that it compromises your privacy. Member-names must be original and not impersonate real or fictitious entities.

Inappropriate Content:

You agree that you will not submit any material that you know to be false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, threatening, or invasive of another Member’s privacy (including, but not limited to, the Content of Private Messages or private Chat conversations sent using the Site). The determination of the nature of Content will be made at the Administration’s discretion. You agree not to post any material intended to incite or continue arguments (“flaming”), or knowingly disrupt the flow of a topic. This includes “cross-posting” (intentionally duplicating posts or topics between topic or threads) and “hijacking” a topic (interrupting another member’s topic with a new subject of your own). You agree to show respect and consideration towards other Members. This includes but is not limited to political, religious or philosophical opinions. You may not post Content that insults, degrades, or defames other Members or specific, named individuals. The use of swearing, threatening behavior or otherwise abusing members in any content is prohibited. This includes any behavior that causes another Member to feel distressed or unwelcome. You agree not to link to any material which itself violates these terms of service. All participants will be treated with the utmost respect.  This starts with you (respect yourself) and extends to all others.

Sexual Content:

You agree not to post sexual content; or soliciting sexually explicit or illegal content from other Members is prohibited.

No Solicitation:

You shall not distribute on or through this Website any postings or presentations of data containing any advertising, promotion, solicitation for goods, services or funds or solicitation for others to become members of any enterprise or organization without the  authorization of The LNM Radio Network. You may not use LNM RADIO NETWORK CHATROOM and its associated website(s) or any information found on our site to sell any product or solicit users for any other service without authorization.

SCREENSHOTS - IF ANY USER SUBSCRIBED TO THE LNM RADIO NETWORK OFFICIAL CHATROOM IS FOUND TO BE SCREEN CAPTURING ANY CONVERSATION AT ALL AND DISTRIBUTING SCREEN CAPTURES IN ANY FORM OF MEDIA AND FUTURE MEDIA PLATFORMS THEREAFTER, YOU WILL BE INSTANTLY REVOKED AND PERMANENTLY BANNED FROM EVER USING THE LNM RADIO NETWORK CHATROOM AGAIN. THE CHATROOM IS PRIVATE AND SUBSCRIPTION ONLY. IF YOU ARE SEEN TO BE DOING THIS YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR BREACH OF PRIVACY AND COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. WE WILL HAVE RIGHT TO PURSUE YOU TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.

 

IGNORING: If someone is offending you, you can add them to your ignore list by using the ignore feature.

MUTING – If one of the moderators deems a person is spamming or harassing another chatter, host, or guest, they may mute you. 

​

BANNING – We reserve the right ban a user and cancel a chat subscription. Please do not hound the moderators or administrators about anyone you don’t like, use the ignore feature. However, we reserve the right to ban anyone if rules are not followed

PRIVATE MESSAGES –  In order to maintain a pleasant environment we have private messages activated to users. Please do not under any circumstances abuse this feature, you will be banned and subscription cancelled.

FREE SPEECH – The first amendment says that “Congress shall pass no law abridging free speech”. We are not congress and we do not pass laws, nor are we a government agency. We are welcoming you into our house. Be respectful to the other guests and everything will be great. But if someone is causing problems at the party, we will ask them to leave, just like any other party.
 

We ask all of our members to post in English as a courtesy to the majority of members using the site. Please do not include any personally identifying information in your Content, including but not limited to your full name, email address, phone number or street address. This is for the protection of all members. Please remember that every Member is a guest at the Site worthy of respect and consideration even if you do not agree with their opinion. This is a privately owned website and “freedom of speech” is supported for the benefit of users. The Site does however retain editing and copyright rights to all content hosted. The safety and well-being of members is paramount and content which infringes upon another member’s security or privacy is prohibited. Although links to external resources are permitted, the external content must not be in violation of the these terms of service. If You Encounter a Problem: Please do not post disputes on the public boards. These can become disruptive. Please use LNM’s reporting system to explain the problem or complaint that you have, with as much information as possible so that they can help you. Please remember to be polite and not to write when you might feel upset. Staff members are volunteers and deserve equal respect. Staff members are volunteers; please treat them with respect and according to these Terms of Service.
